"Quite possibly the Worst Insurance Company out there. I don't know this agent personally but State Farm doesn't cover claims and if they don't cover legitimate claims why pay the premiums. Definitely would recommend Gibson Insurance out of Plymouth, IN. They are fair and helpful and when it comes time to cover a claim they actual cover the claims. Sorry Shawn to drop this on your site but you probably might want to work for a more reputable Insurer. Not the predatory kind that State Farm is. Have a great day all. Gibson insurance is very much still in business. As I said state farm is not a reputable underwriter. This has no bearing on Shawn as an agent but unless he's going to cover what state farm refuses you will be without any coverage in practice since they don't pay claims. Also unsurprising Shawn had to pay to suppress poor reviews. This happens when people pay for coverage and then state farm decides all claims. Imagine you had homeowners insurance with them and a storm damaged your roof. You would probably be upset when state farm denied that because they don't want to pay. This might lead you to post a negative review. Good luck if you go with state farm. Just trying to let folks know before to late."

"I apologize to all reading the above review. It has nothing to do with me or my office. The company he points out is actually permanently closed. Feel free to look them up. I get people who market me to get rid of poor reviews and this one looks like a plant to prove why I need them. Give my office a call and talk to myself, Isaiah, or Rylie and you will find this to be a great State Farm office to entrust your family's insurance needs."

"Absolutely terrible person, he’s rude and disrespectful. The way he treats people outside of work is terrible, he feels entitled and superior and thinks he can treat others however he pleases. Do not recommend."

"I have taken a couple days to answer this review. I'm still incredulous that I need to even go here. I take the State Farm insureds that trust me with their premium dollars very serious. When they stop by and pay their premiums its my duty to make sure these premiums get to the bank and are properly credited. I took these insureds monies to the bank and was left very upset that the person attempting to take this deposit informed me that my deposit couldn't be made. (NOTE: I've been making these same deposits to the same bank for almost a decade). State Farm insureds premiums were not going to be allowed to be deposited. I did get upset. I apologize for getting emotional, but these were insureds autos, homes, life policies that needed to be paid. I couldn't imagine a loss occurring for one of the insureds that entrusted me to take care of them and I have to say "sorry, your premium wasn't credited to your account properly." So long and short on this: I am sorry I got upset, but I'm not sorry that I demanded the people, the friends, the insureds needed me to make sure my promise to them was kept and their premiums properly credited. I will ALWAYS fight for you."

"I have no words to describe how amazing Shawn is. Before we bought our first house, we contacted bunch of insurance agent. To our dismay, none of them wanted to explain what was covered. Shawn was the first and only one who explained everything to me and my wife for hours. He is an honest and smart agent who definitely saves you money. He or his assistant are always there to take our call. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks a lot for everything Shawn."

"I used to be a long standing customer, but when my premiums went up with no accidents or tickets I called. I was told it was due to hurricane and storm damage in a different state that I was going to help pay for with an increase in premiums. I said nope and left right quick!!!!"
